Xiao He Chase Han Xin Under the Moon 萧何月下追韩信 Xiao He Yue Xia Zhui Han Xin. In the peasant rebellion during the fall of the Qin Dynasty, Han Xin pledged his allegiance first to Xiang Liang; when Xiang was defeated Han Xin switched to Xiang Yu. He suggested many military strategies to Xiang Yu, who ignored his advice. Han Xin left Xiang Yu and went to Liu Bang. One day, Han Xin disobeyed a direct order, the consequence of which is execution. Seeing General Xiahou Ying, Han Xin cried out, "Does the Han Emperor not want to conquer all under heaven? Why kill an extraordinary man?" General Xiahou heard that Han Xin is not an ordinary person, so he pardorned and recommended Han Xin to Liu Bang. But Han Xin was not promoted, so Han Xin questioned a close advisor of Liu Bang, Xiao He about Liu Bang. Han Xin realized that his talents would not be properly utilized and left Liu's dominion. Xiao He, realizing that Han Xin is someone extraordinary, chased after him through the night.
