This series consists of original copies of the Chinese-American Times (CAT), beginning with April 1960 and ending with August-September 1972. Most of the issues have multiple copies, but there are some issues missing. Most of the early issues are in fragile condition, but many of the later years, from about 1967-on, are in good condition. Also, this series includes microfilm of the entire set of papers plus additional issues from 1958-1960, donated by the Ethnic Studies Library at the University of California, Berkeley.
