Biographical / Historical
Fred Chueng Eng (1916-1977) is a Hong Kong-born Chinese American artist. Growing up learning Chinese ink painting and calligraphy, Eng became a sign painter in New York Chinatown after moving to the United States in 1929. He contributed to several comic magazines in lettering and illustration.
