Biographical / Historical

Paul Fung (1897-1944) was a Chinese American cartoonist born in Seattle. Fung's artistic career initiated through the study of traditional Chinese art. Later inspired by the Sunday comics he read, the son of a Chinese Baptist minister discovered his passion for cartooning and illustration and had his artworks exhibited and published.
