Biographical / Historical
This is a collection donated by the Kow family on November 22nd 2019. Pauline Kow, Linda Kow, and Judy Kow represented the family and donated 18 photos, a negative, and a book in digital format. The museum digitized these materials and returned the originals to the family. These materials are preserved under the collection name "The Kow Family" and related to their father, Alfred Kow. Alfred left home Changle, Fuzhou, as a teenager in the late 1930s when his father got sick and he needed to find a way to earn money for the entire family as the eldest of six.
