This series consists of paper documents and audio-visual materials of initial research conducted by the author/donor for the book and exhibition. The paper documents include copies of journal articles; history books from the Chinese Historical Society of America; and reports from the Asian American Federation of New York and the Committee of 100. The audio-visual materials consist of DVDs of documentary films such as "Ivy Dreams" and "In America"; VHS cassette tapes of Bill Moyers's "Becoming American: The Chinese Experience; and a DVD of the film, "Forbidden City."
