Scope and Contents
This collection consists of conference proceedings on videocassette tapes and oral histories saved on a variety of media, including DVDs, Betamax tapes, and mini digital videocassettes. The conferences cover the years 1991 and 1995-1996. The oral histories cover the years 2004 and 2007.

Biographical / Historical
Based on its website, https://committee100.org, the Committee of 100 is a membership organization of Chinese Americans dedicated to the spirit of excellence and achievement in America. Its mission is to promote the full participation of all Chinese Americans in American society and act as a public policy resource for the Chinese-American community and to promote constructive dialogue and relationships between the peoples and leaders of the United States and Greater China. The organization was started in 1989 and its members focus on advancing three core program pillars: US China Trust Building; Next Generation Leadership Development; and Chinese Americans for Greater Inclusion. In addition, the organization hosts annual conferences to highlight the importance of constructive US and China relations and celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of Chinese Americans.
