Biographical / Historical

From December 12, 1998-February 27, 1999, the Museum of Chinese in America (then known as the Museum of Chinese in the Americas) cosponsored an exhibit with the Bronx Museum of the Arts entitled, "Mi Familia, Mi Communidad: Family Pictures from Cuba, Peru and Guatemala." As part of the project, oral histories were conducted with people of Chinese ancestry whose countries of origins included Puerto Rico, Peru, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Brazil, and Trinidad.
