Jacqueline Huey collection

 Collection
Identifier: 1996.003-2000.009

Scope and Contents

This collection consists of newsletters, reports, journals, and books. Many of the newsletters are addressed to a Mr. and Mrs. Huey, presumably the donor's parents. All of the items are dated from the 1970s-early 1980s except for one report, which is from 1990. The newsletters are all from the Organization of Chinese-Americans, Inc. The reports are from the US Commission on Civil Rights and the US General Accounting Office. The journals include copies of "Bridge" Magazine, "Civil Rights Digest," and "Asian American Review." The book, written by Betty Lee Sung in 1979, is entitled, "Transplanted Chinese Children." In addition, there is a guidebook for Washington, DC's Chinatown and a conference program from the Asian American Conference held at the University of Massachusetts in 1977. Objects are also searchable via PastPerfect Online System at http://mocanyc.pastperfectonline.com/randomimages.
