Chong Lung and Co. collection
The collection mostly contains administrative and business records of Chong Lung and Co., such as business cards, letterhead, bills, receipts, inventory lists, payroll records, tax records, bank accounts, check books, and other financial records. Most of the business records are from the early 1920s to the late 1940s. In addition, there is a newspaper clipping and a few personal items, including letters, cards, envelopes, and notebooks. Biographical / Historical
Chong Lung & Co. was a Chinese grocery store, founded in the early 1920's at 33 Pell Street in New York's Chinatown.
Organized alphabetically into 4 series: (1) Business documents, (2) Newspapers, (3) Personal items, and (4) Photographs.
